Dermaplaining

What is dermaplaining?

Dermaplaning is a procedure that involves using a sterile surgical blade to gently remove dead skin and facial hair leaving skin smooth and bright.

How does it work?

Dermaplaning is a procedure that exfoliates your skin and gets rid of fine facial hair, otherwise known as “peach fuzz.” The process involves using a sterile surgical steel scalpel to gently scrape the top layer of the skin.  The benefits of regular dermaplaning include brighter, smoother skin, and improvements in skin tone, superficial hyperpigmentation, and shallow acne scars.  After dermaplaning you will notice smoother and more even makeup application.  Dermaplaning also results in deeper skin care product penetration improving its effectiveness which is why it is also a perfect prep for chemical peels and microneedling. It will NOT make hair grow back thicker and darker as that is a misconception.
